The new film from The Adams Family begins as a small-town mystery and ends like Fargo on acid, with a crazy finale. The sheriff of a small town has to deal with people and animals vanishing without a trace, and slimy red holes popping up everywhere. As she tries to figure out what's going on, the remaining villagers take matters into their own hands.
Following Mother of Flies (Imagine Filmfestival 2025), The Adams Family is back with The Glorious Dead, a small-town mystery with a cosmic edge. As usual, it's a family affair, with every member taking on various roles both in front of and behind the camera.
The Glorious Dead is preceded by a short film: the claustrophobic body horror Exuvia (2024). In Exuvia, a macabre spectacle of flesh and craftsmanship unfolds as a young man submits to a ritual.
